Sad DA

Tue Nov 1, 2005, 9:33 PM
After months of browsing trought the photography section of DA, I came to one conculsion :
The photography Section of DA is SAD.

Yep, it is.

Generally, many favourites in photography are :
1st : emo types pics.
The pics where one person (preferably with black hair) looks far far away, with a sad emo emotion sticked to his faces. And all comments comes! 'oh my god, so emotional. You gotta be living hard days !'.
I'm finding it RLY sad that when a pic is about someone who is not smiling, it is absolutely artistic. I rarely see photos in here that we see people smiling. Just like if the subject of the photo is smiling/happy/joyfull, it isnt rly artistic anymore.

2nd : The Black n White Photos.
In this categories, we can find UBER beautifull photos. But the problem is, its that its widely used. Like if Black n white adds a better artistic work to the deviation. I find that even if its beautifull, the blacknWhite makes the pic way more 'sad', less vivifying.

In conclusion :

I've decided to start something. I'm going to start concentrating on taking the MOST COLORfull pic, the pic where the subject is SMILING. Pics that are beautifull (and even with a touch of an artistic manover) but that are meant to make SMILE the viewer.

I'm gonna call this the : Anti-depressive DA project, COLORS AND SMILES.

If you check my gallery, i've already started abit this :

And I Invite you all to do the same ! Sign : Anti-depressive DA project, COLORS AND SMILES at the end of the deviation u think deserve this title.

Together, lets make DA a place to Smile !

Wohoo!!!
